The Light I Hold

This painting is one of my first using clay within a watercolor work. I wanted to create the realism of a cave, as well as the depths and overwhelm a person can feel when stuck within them. The colors are all reflective of what can still exist in dark places, and though we may be naked, cold and alone, a small light can give hope.
